This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1972 for the first release of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes .
When dogs and cats have been wiped out by a plague, the apes, now household pets, are treated like slaves. Caesar, a simian, leads chimps in rebellion against human oppressors.
