This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1966 for the very first Cyborg 009 feature film, released nationwide on 21 July 1966 by Toei Animation and director Yūgo Serikawa. Based on Shōtarō Ishinomori’s breakthrough science-fiction manga, the full-colour theatrical adventure introduced audiences to the nine cybernetic heroes who would become icons of anime culture.
Overall this poster is in excellent condition when viewed from the front. We have taken the condition of the back of the poster into account when pricing (we have provided additional imagery - once framed this poster will display fantastically. We have a near mint condition poster in stock for $625 USD. This poster is therefore, a BARGAIN!
