This is an original Japanese B2 poster issued in 1994 for Dragon Ball Z, produced by Toei Animation and licensed from Bird Studio / Shueisha (with Fuji TV credit). Created for domestic retail/character promotion rather than a single film, it celebrates the height of the Super Saiyan era. The upper-right bug reads “SUPER SAIYAN,” and the lower-right carries the official Toei authentication foil sticker.

Series background
Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Z defined 1990s shōnen action, moving from the Android/Cell arcs into the Buu era. Transformations and escalating power levels—most iconically the Super Saiyan—made DBZ a global phenomenon across television, films, games, and merchandise.

Poster design
