“Enter the Dragon” (燃えよドラゴン), Original Japanese Movie Poster 1973, Warner Bros. First Release, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O92

Sale price $250.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1973 for the first domestic theatrical release of Enter the Dragon (燃えよドラゴン), the landmark Golden Harvest / Warner Bros. co-production released in Japan by Warner Bros. (Warner Communications). First-issue Japanese posters for Bruce Lee’s global breakthrough are among the most sought-after martial-arts sheets.

Film background
Directed by Robert Clouse and produced by Raymond Chow and Fred Weintraub, Enter the Dragon was Bruce Lee’s final completed film and the title that ignited a worldwide kung-fu boom. Lee’s Shaolin-trained agent infiltrates crime lord Han’s island tournament with help from John Saxon and Jim Kelly. Featuring Lalo Schifrin’s pulse-pounding score, the nunchaku set-pieces, and the hall-of-mirrors climax, it stands as a cornerstone of action cinema.

Poster design
A dynamic montage crowns Bruce Lee full-figure with nunchaku, hands raised in a classic stance, flanked by explosive red bursts. Vignettes highlight John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Bolo Yeung, and Han, alongside chase and helicopter imagery. The bold brush-stroke title 「燃えよドラゴン」 spans the top, with the English mark “Enter The Dragon” at lower left; credits and the Eirin censorship seal sit along the footer—hallmarks of a domestic first-release sheet with strong wall presence.
