This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical release poster for Enter the Dragon, dating to 1974 and featuring Bob Peak’s celebrated illustrated artwork. Its combination of dramatic portraiture, elaborate decorative framing and bold Japanese typography makes it a particularly striking piece of Bruce Lee memorabilia.

Originally released in 1973, Robert Clouse’s martial-arts adventure stars Bruce Lee, John Saxon and Jim Kelly, alongside Ahna Capri and Shih Kien. The story follows Lee’s character as he infiltrates an island martial-arts tournament to investigate its powerful host. Combining espionage with spectacular fight choreography, the film helped establish Lee’s enduring international reputation.

Peak’s composition places Bruce Lee at its centre, bare-chested with his arms raised beneath a horizontally extended pair of nunchaku. Above him, Jim Kelly reaches towards the viewer and John Saxon throws a punch, while Ahna Capri’s portrait crowns the design.

An ornate red architectural frame encloses the warm gold and brown illustration. Smaller scenes fill the lower section, including fighting figures, a helicopter, police cars and a bound prisoner. Curling golden dragons flank the central portrait of the villainous Han, with a small harbour scene beneath.

The Japanese layout gives this artwork a distinctive presentation. An enormous vertical column of black lettering down the left reads 「ブルース・リー」—“Bruce Lee”, while the right-hand margin carries the emphatic promotional line:

「本物の本物！全篇に炸裂する《リー》のアクション！」
“The genuine article! Lee’s action explodes throughout the film!”

This wording distinguishes the sheet from the familiar first-release variant carrying a different introductory slogan. The English title sits above the artwork, while 「燃えよドラゴン」 stretches across the bottom in forceful red lettering, with black outlines around the katakana. A small figure suspended from a rope adds a final action detail beside the title.
