“Fallo! / Do It!” (桃色画報), Original Japanese Movie Poster 2004, Tinto Brass, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) — ZA1133

An original Japanese B2 theatrical poster for the 2004 Japanese release of Fallo! (2003), internationally known as Do It! Directed by Tinto Brass, the Italian anthology opened in Japan on 15 May 2004, distributed by Albatros Film under the title 桃色画報 (Momoiro Gahō, approximately “Pink Pictorial”).

Combining six short stories exploring desire, relationships, and infidelity, the film brings together the irreverent humour and erotic themes associated with Brass’s cinema. Its Japanese campaign translates that identity into a particularly striking graphic composition.

A deep black background provides the setting for oversized pink Japanese lettering and a fan of fine pink lines radiating upwards from the lower centre. These lines connect the photographic imagery across the base with the title above, giving the design a strong geometric structure.

The reclining figure and dark bedding occupy the lower portion of the sheet, leaving much of the composition open for typography. Warm photographic tones contrast with the black background, while pink accents repeat throughout the title, radiating lines, and promotional copy.

Running vertically through the centre is the Japanese tagline:

「女の数だけエロスがある。」
“As many women, as many expressions of desire.”

Bold pink lettering above the compact bilingual credits prominently advertises Tinto Brass’s name. The result is an immediately recognisable Japanese campaign design with strong appeal for collectors of European cult cinema and distinctive film-poster graphics.
