Sale price $100.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1976 for the re-release of Fantastic Voyage (ミクロの決死圏), the celebrated American science fiction adventure film originally released in 1966 by 20th Century Fox.

Film background

Directed by Richard Fleischer, Fantastic Voyage follows a submarine crew who are miniaturized and injected into a scientist’s body to repair a life-threatening blood clot. Combining Cold War suspense with pioneering special effects, the film became a landmark of 1960s science fiction cinema, winning two Academy Awards for Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects.

Poster design

This striking 1976 Japanese B2 features vivid imagery of the miniaturized crew in yellow diving suits, set against a surreal bloodstream landscape. The bold red Japanese title 「ミクロの決死圏」 dominates the composition, while the classic submarine and a watchful eye motif emphasize both the wonder and tension of the film’s high-concept premise.
