This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1988 for the first Japanese theatrical double‑feature release pairing Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (13日の金曜日 PART 7 新しい恐怖), directed by John Carl Buechler, with the surf drama North Shore (ノース・ショア), directed by William Phelps and distributed together in Japan by UIP for Paramount and Universal.

Film background
The New Blood brings a supernatural twist to the Friday the 13th franchise, pitting Jason Voorhees against Tina, a traumatised teen whose burgeoning telekinetic powers unleash him from his watery grave at Crystal Lake. North Shore, set mostly on Oahu’s famed North Shore, follows aspiring young surfer Rick as he leaves Arizona to chase big‑wave glory, learning respect for the ocean and local surf culture along the way.

Poster design
This striking roadshow B2 is split between slasher horror and sun‑drenched surf adventure. The upper section is devoted to Part VII: on the left, Jason’s figure is engulfed in roaring orange flames, while on the right a close‑up of Tina’s face shows a psychic blue flare bursting from her eye, with Jason’s hockey mask floating ominously near her.
