This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1971 for Daiei’s kaijū showdown Gamera vs. Zigra (ガメラ対深海怪獣ジグラ), directed by Noriaki Yuasa. An alien shark-beast named Zigra arrives to conquer Earth, only to meet the friend-to-children guardian Gamera—sparking an aquatic/sci-fi brawl that careens from deep sea to city streets (with a memorable Sea World set piece).

Design
A kinetic underwater tableau: Gamera rockets in, unleashing his white-hot flame against the blade-finned Zigra as currents swirl around them. At lower left, monochrome and duotone stills preview destruction and panicked evacuations; a yellow research submersible hovers near the seabed.
