This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster issued in 2014 for the summer Godzilla campaign in Japan. Produced under official Toho license and distributed by Movic, these promotional posters were not sold commercially but created for advertising purposes. Promotional Godzilla posters, particularly those featuring montage artwork of multiple kaiju, are highly collectible among fans of the franchise.

Background
2014 marked the global resurgence of Godzilla as Legendary Pictures released Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla reboot, reigniting worldwide interest in Toho’s most famous kaiju. Toho simultaneously celebrated the long-running franchise in Japan with a variety of campaigns, events, and merchandise highlighting the legacy of the monster and his many adversaries. This promotional poster was part of that celebration, distributed to coincide with the summer campaign and intended to showcase the rich history of kaiju cinema.

Poster design
The artwork presents a spectacular montage of Godzilla battling his most famous enemies across the franchise’s history, including King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Gigan, Rodan, Mothra (both larva and imago forms), Kumonga, and others.
