“Godzilla vs Destoroyah” (ゴジラvsデストロイア), Original Japanese Theatrical Poster 1995, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) K76

Sale price $200.00

This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1995 for Toho’s Godzilla vs Destoroyah—the climactic finale of the Heisei era. A genuine cinema display sheet from the film’s first Japanese release.

Film background
Triggered by a reactor-style meltdown inside Godzilla, the King of the Monsters rages toward catastrophe while a new terror—born from the 1954 Oxygen Destroyer—mutates into the nightmarish Destoroyah. Directed by Takao Okawara with effects by Koichi Kawakita, the film concludes the Heisei storyline in operatic fashion.

Poster design
A ferocious two-figure face-off: blood-red Destoroyah looms at left as Burning Godzilla erupts with molten orange chest plates and steam—Tokyo’s skyline ablaze below. Bold headline copy punctuates the stakes: 「オキシジェン・デストロイヤー……」 along the right, and the chilling vertical proclamation 「ゴジラ死す」 (“GODZILLA DIES”) in white at left. The jagged yellow title lock-up 「ゴジラ vs デストロイア」 anchors the composition—an iconic Heisei image with superb wall presence.
