Sale price $110.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1993 for the first Japanese theatrical release of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (13日の金曜日 ジェイソンの命日), directed by Adam Marcus and distributed in Japan by UIP for New Line Cinema.

The film is the ninth feature in the Friday the 13th franchise and the first produced by New Line, reimagining Jason Voorhees with a body‑hopping demonic twist.

Film background
Opening with Jason’s apparent annihilation at the hands of a SWAT team, the story follows the discovery that his evil essence can possess other people, turning them into temporary hosts as he searches for a surviving member of his bloodline whose body will restore his physical form. Jason Goes to Hell leans into mythology, introducing the Voorhees family, occult lore and cameos that tease future crossovers, making it an oddball but pivotal entry in the series.

Poster design
The Japanese B2 art is centred on an unforgettable split‑image mask. The left side shows a mirror‑polished metallic hockey mask reflecting flames, while the right side melts into a grotesque, flesh‑like version of Jason’s face, with a writhing serpent‑tongued demon emerging from one of the eyeholes. A fiery orange burst behind the mask reinforces the hellish motif. The bold white headline at the top trumpets this as the 13th outing in the series, while the huge blood‑red brush title 「13日の金曜日 ジェイソンの命日」 anchors the bottom, sitting above the English credits and New Line / UIP logos.
