A scarce original Japanese B2 poster issued for OTOMO KATSUHIRO: GENGA (大友克洋GENGA展), the landmark Katsuhiro Otomo exhibition held at 3331 Arts Chiyoda, Tokyo in spring 2012. The show presented approximately 3,000 original drawings and famously included the complete original manuscript pages for AKIRA (listed at roughly 2,300 sheets/pages), alongside major works spanning Otomo’s career. 

This specific B2 design is widely recognized in the Japanese collectibles market as the “AKIRA 4” GENGA exhibition poster—an official exhibition-poster issue tied directly to the 2012 campaign materials.

Design
A dramatic, gallery-style key visual: a solemn child sits centered on a monumental white throne amid cracked ruins, with sweeping green drapery above and a distant skyline on the horizon.
