Directed by Hayao Miyazaki and released by Studio Ghibli in 1989, Kiki’s Delivery Service follows Kiki, a young witch-in-training, as she leaves home to live independently in a seaside city and begins working as a flying delivery girl. Gentle, funny, emotionally sincere, and deeply observant about growing up, the film remains one of Miyazaki’s most cherished works.
