This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1975 for the first release of Graveyard of Honor.
"Jingi no Hakaba" (仁義の墓場, Graveyard of Honor) (1975) is a gritty and brutal Yakuza crime film directed by Kinji Fukasaku. Starring Tetsuya Watari, the film tells the true story of Rikio Ishikawa, a reckless and violent gangster who spirals into self-destruction, defying both the police and the Yakuza code.
Known for its unflinching realism, raw violence, and documentary-style cinematography, Graveyard of Honor is one of Fukasaku’s most uncompromising films, portraying the dark side of the underworld without glamorization. A landmark in the Yakuza genre, it remains a powerful and unsettling exploration of crime and nihilism.
