This is an original Japanese VAP VIDEO in-store promotional poster for Lupin the Third from 1980`s. Marked “NOT FOR SALE”, it was distributed to video shops only and was not sold commercially. Credits read © モンキー・パンチ / TMS・NTV.
Bold, poppy design: a bright yellow ground with three Lupin poses—the red-jacket Lupin lounging in a salon chair, the green-jacket sharpshooter at left (Walther P38 in hand), and the pink-jacket trickster at right. The vertical LUPIN THE THIRD wordmark runs down the left edge, with the Japanese title 「ルパン三世」 across the top. A quintessential 80s/90s shop-display piece for the franchise.
Record-store / video-shop posters like this were printed in small numbers and saw heavy use, making surviving examples scarce, especially in clean condition.
