This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1991 for the Japan theatrical release of Night of the Living Dead (1990)—the ferocious, Tom Savini–directed remake of George A. Romero’s classic. Produced by Menahem Golan with makeup effects by Tom Savini/KNB, the film reintroduced Romero’s siege nightmare to a new generation and helped fuel the 1990s zombie revival in Japan.
Design
A hellish mound of the undead surges forward, clawed hands and blood-smeared faces filling the frame, with arterial splatter and the jagged red logotype 「ナイト・オブ・ザ・リビングデッド」 slashed across the top. The small English subtitle NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD sits beneath, while Japanese taglines run vertically—pure early-’90s horror marketing at full volume.
