The North Cape (北 の 岬, Kita no misaki ) Is a Japanese film directed by Kei Kumai , released in 1976. The film, based on a novel by Kunio Tsuji , deals with the relationship between the rich countries and those of the Third World; in the center: Marie-Thérèse, a Swiss missionary nun, who meets a Japanese engineer aboard a ship connecting Marseille to Yokohama . The story of an impossible love.
