This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1986 for the release of Poltergeist II: The Other Side, the sequel to Tobe Hooper’s supernatural hit, again produced by Steven Spielberg and featuring JoBeth Williams, Craig T. Nelson and young Heather O’Rourke.

Design
The artwork is both surreal and disturbing. Most of the sheet is filled with a pale, ghostly illustration of a monstrous, vaguely humanoid entity—its bulging eyes, gaping mouth and sinuous tendrils emerging out of an indistinct, misty form rendered in greys and whites. The creature looms from the left, its presence almost abstract, like a spirit captured on overexposed film. On the right, a narrow vertical panel breaks the composition: a photographic image of little Carol Anne sits at the bottom, clutching a toy and telephone in a pool of light against total darkness, firmly grounding the threat in the world of the Freeling family. The jagged black‑edged red Japanese logo 「ポルターガイスト2」 runs vertically down the left, balanced by a red tagline column on the right, with the English title and credits along the lower edge.
