This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1995 for the cult spoof Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978), released theatrically in Japan as the “Perfect Version.” The Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival laurel and tongue-in-cheek copy trumpet its so-bad-it’s-great legend.
Design
Wall-to-wall red tomatoes frame the manic painted one-sheet of the giant chomping fruit attacking the shore. Heavy orange logo type and comedy hype lines in yellow pop off a saturated cyan field—camp perfection.
