This is an original Japanese B3 poster printed in 1966 for Burt Kennedy’s sequel to The Magnificent Seven. Yul Brynner returns as Chris, joined by Robert Fuller, Warren Oates, Julián Mateos, and Claude Akins, with Elmer Bernstein reprising his rousing western score. Released in Japan by United Artists.
Design
A classic 60s ensemble layout: Brynner stands front and center, revolver drawn, as the new Seven fan out around him against a widescreen desert sky. Cavalry and riders surge in the distance, while the bold, slashed brush logotype 「続・荒野の七人」 tears across the base beside the English title “Return of the Seven.” Deluxe color / Panavision and UA marks complete the first-issue styling.
