This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster for the 1974 Japanese release of From Beyond the Grave, released locally as 呪われた墓 (Norowareta Haka). Opening in Japan on 13 April 1974 through Warner Bros., the film received a suitably macabre campaign combining supernatural imagery, threatening portraits, and jagged red typography.

Directed by Kevin Connor, this Amicus Productions horror anthology brings together four stories by R. Chetwynd-Hayes. Peter Cushing plays an enigmatic antiques dealer whose customers discover the sinister consequences of their purchases. The ensemble includes Donald Pleasence, Ian Bannen, Ian Carmichael, David Warner, Diana Dors, and Margaret Leighton. The film was the final entry in Amicus’s celebrated cycle of horror anthologies.

Printed on one B2 sheet, the composition centres on a tall burning candle, its orange flame providing a warm focal point amid cold blue, grey, and green imagery. The typography pairs 「４」, meaning “four,” with 「死」, meaning “death.” Both can be pronounced shi, creating a compact visual pun that connects the four-part structure with the film’s deadly subject matter.

Condition: Excellent. Light fold and handling creases are present, with minor age toning and a few small marks on the reverse. The front retains strong colour and clear detail.
