This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1980 for the Japanese first release of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (スター・ウォーズ／帝国の逆襲), directed by Irvin Kershner and starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Billy Dee Williams. Widely regarded as the finest film in the saga, Empire deepened the mythology and raised the stakes—delivering some of the franchise’s most iconic moments and cementing Star Wars as a global cultural phenomenon.

Design
