Film background
Concluding the original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi depicts the Rebel Alliance’s final assault on the Empire’s second Death Star while Luke Skywalker confronts Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine in a bid to redeem his father. The film introduced fan‑favourite characters such as Jabba the Hutt and the Ewoks, wrapped up the “classic trilogy” storyline and became another major box‑office success, securing Star Wars’ status as a cultural phenomenon.
Poster design
This Japanese B2 features the dynamic montage artwork used in international campaigns (often attributed to Kazuhiko Sano), with Darth Vader’s helmet looming over a starfield and the half‑constructed Death Star.
