This is an original Japanese B2 poster issued for the theatrical compilation film of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, released by Toho and Bandai Namco Filmworks in January 2025. The compilation preceded the TV run, which aired from April–June 2025 and, at 12 episodes, is the shortest TV series in the Gundam franchise (excluding OVAs).
Film/series background
Billed as a bold collaboration (カラー × サンライズ / “Khara × Sunrise—dreams intersect”), GQuuuuuuX reframes Gundam’s real-robot DNA through pop, youth-drama sensibilities: a new red-haired protagonist, academy setting, and sleek, graphic mecha design language. The compilation feature condenses the series’ key arcs and set pieces for big-screen audiences while establishing visual motifs and character beats that the broadcast expanded on.
Poster design
A vivid neon-green palette sets an energetic tone. Center stage is the red-haired schoolgirl lead in uniform, backpack slung with a mascot charm and Haro at her feet. Behind her, layered halftone screens reveal angular silhouettes of multiple mobile suits, merging street-poster textures with industrial mech geometry.
