This is an original Japanese movie poster from 1975 for the re-release of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) is an American Technicolor fantasy adventure film directed by Nathan H. Juran and starring Kerwin Mathews, Kathryn Grant, and Torin Thatcher. Produced by Charles H. Schneer and distributed by Columbia Pictures, it was the first of three Sinbad films, followed by The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973) and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977). All three films featured Ray Harryhausen's innovative stop-motion animation technique, Dynamation.
Although the film’s title references the famous tale "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor," it does not follow that story, instead drawing inspiration from Sinbad's Third and Fifth voyages. In 2008, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry for its cultural, historical, and aesthetic significance.
