“THE BEATLES — TIMELESS” (タイムレス), Original Japanese Record Promotion Poster 1986, Not For Sale, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) P90
This is an original Japanese B2 record-store promotional poster produced in 1986 by Teichiku Records (Japan) to advertise The Beatles “TIMELESS” release campaign. The sheet is clearly marked “NOT FOR SALE” and was intended for in-store display to promote the limited edition lineup, including Timeless I (LP/CD/cassette; LP includes a collector’s number), Timeless II (CD/cassette), and 3-D (CD/cassette), with a listed reservation deadline of 25 June 1986 and release dates in late July / early August 1986.
Design
A bold, pop-forward design on a saturated yellow field: two oversized “record label” circles (marked SIDE 1 / SIDE 2) frame period photos of the band, with TIMELESS running through the top disc like a label spine. Cartoon Beatles figures in bright ’60s-style outfits surround the typography, while the huge THE BEATLES logotype anchors the centre—clean, fun, and instantly recognisable as Japanese music-promo ephemera from the mid-1980s.
