This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1968 for the first release of The Girl on a Motorcycle.
The Girl on a Motorcycle (French: La Motocyclette) is a 1968 erotic romantic drama directed by Jack Cardiff, starring Alain Delon and Marianne Faithfull. Adapted from the 1963 novel La Motocyclette by André Pieyre de Mandiargues, the film was released under the title Naked Under Leather in some markets. It became the first film in the United States to receive an X rating, although Warner Brothers later edited it for an R rating. Originally selected to compete at the 1968 Cannes Film Festival, the festival was canceled due to the May 1968 protests in France.
The film is also notable for its iconic leather catsuit, designed by John Sutcliffe, which Marianne Faithfull's character wore, ultimately redefining the image of the motorcyclist's gear.
