This is an original Japanese poster printed in early 1950`s for the first release of The Night Is My Kingdom starring Jean Gabin.
This poster was acquired along with many 1950s posters that came from an old cinema that closed down in the 1970s. The posters were used in the cinema at the time almost 70 years ago and show some signs of use such as staining, tears and fold lines. Although the posters were folded they have been stored flat and will display very nicely once framed.
It appears as this poster was used by an art student and has pencil lines on the face of Jean Garbin - please refer to the additional imagery provided.
