This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1971 for The Organization, the third Virgil Tibbs feature starring Sidney Poitier (following In the Heat of the Night and They Call Me Mister Tibbs!). Released in Japan under the series banner 夜の大捜査線 with the subtitle 霧のストレンジャー, the film pits Tibbs against a shadowy San Francisco crime syndicate—capping the iconic crime trilogy.

Design
A dynamic montage set against a rust-orange cityscape: a looming close-up of Poitier’s steely gaze dominates while silhouetted mob figures line up across the middle band.
