This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster for Thelma & Louise, Ridley Scott’s 1991 road‑movie classic written by Callie Khouri and starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon. Blending buddy‑film camaraderie with feminist anger, the movie follows two women whose weekend getaway spirals into a cross‑country flight from the law after a traumatic act of self‑defence. 

Film background
Housewife Thelma and waitress Louise set off for a fishing‑cabin break to escape their dead‑end lives and controlling men. After Louise kills a would‑be rapist outside a bar, the pair choose flight over surrender, robbing stores, blowing up a tanker and picking up a charming drifter (Brad Pitt in his breakout role) as they barrel toward the Grand Canyon and an unforgettable finale. The film became a cultural touchstone, inspiring debates about gender, violence and freedom, and earned Khouri an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. 

Poster design
The Japanese B2 captures the film’s mix of joy and open‑road melancholy.
