This is an original Japanese B2 poster issued in Japan for the 1974 theatrical re-release of Thunderball (1965), Terence Young’s fourth James Bond film—starring Sean Connery as 007, alongside Claudine Auger, Adolfo Celi, Luciana Paluzzi, and Lotte Lenya. A defining entry in the early Bond canon, Thunderball is the series’ full-scale, big-budget spectacle—fusing Cold War stakes with iconic underwater action, exotic locations, and some of the most enduring imagery of the Connery era.

A dynamic, action-saturated Japanese campaign that distils Thunderball’s unique identity—underwater combat and high-technology espionage—into one bold montage.
