"Ghosthouse" (ゴーストハウス), Original Japanese First-Release Movie Poster 1988, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm), Artwork by Enzo Sciotti O349

Sale price $100.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1988 for Ghosthouse (La casa 3), the Italian supernatural chiller directed by Umberto Lenzi (as “Humphrey Humbert”). Riding the late-’80s boom for Italian occult horror, the film follows a pirate-radio couple who track a distress signal to a deserted New England mansion—only to awaken a murderous child spirit and her clown doll.

Design
Painted by the legendary Italian poster artist Enzo Sciotti (signature visible at lower right; see additional image), the artwork delivers pure VHS-era terror: a white-eyed girl levitates in front of a gabled Victorian house wreathed in storm clouds and lightning, clutching a grinning clown mask. A gnarled tree claws across the composition, while blood-rimmed block letters 「ゴーストハウス」 slash the base above a row of grisly scene stills. It’s a quintessential Sciotti nightmare tableau—moody airbrush, electric light, and operatic menace.
