“Yakuza: Of the End” (龍が如く OF THE END), Original Japanese Video Game Promotional Poster 2011, SEGA / PlayStation 3, B2 Format (c. 51 × 73 cm) — T152
This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster for Yakuza: Of the End, SEGA’s zombie-themed entry in the Yakuza series, created for its 2011 PlayStation 3 campaign. The poster preserves the campaign’s original release announcement: 17 March 2011. Following the March 11 earthquake, the release was postponed and the game launched in Japan on 9 June 2011.
Set in Kamurocho, the series’ fictional Tokyo entertainment district, the story imagines the city overrun by zombies and sealed behind a military barricade. Four familiar characters—Shun Akiyama, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goda, and Kazuma Kiryu—take up arms as the crisis unfolds. The game introduced a shooting-focused battle system to the series.
The poster brings the four protagonists together in a dramatic, monochrome composition. Kiryu stands at the centre, with Akiyama to the left, Goda above him, and Majima at the right. Oversized firearms sweep diagonally across the image, underscoring the game’s shift toward gun battles and its apocalyptic setting.
The large title combines the Japanese 龍が如く logo with the distressed English words “OF THE END”, set over a bold red brushstroke. Along the right edge, the red Japanese slogan reads:
「伝説の男達 最後のケジメ」
“The legendary men’s final reckoning.”
PlayStation 3 branding appears at the upper left. Along the bottom are the SEGA logo, cast credits, the advertised release date, and the game’s official website. Together, these details make this a striking piece of original Japanese video game advertising for collectors of Yakuza / Like a Dragon, SEGA, and PlayStation.
Condition: Excellent. The poster presents very well, with strong, clear artwork and lettering. Please review all photographs, including the reverse, for a close view of the exact poster for sale.
B2 format: approximately 51 × 73 cm.
Stock code: T152.
It is not a reproduction or a reprint.
