“Yakuza 6: The Song of Life” (龍が如く6 命の詩。), Original Japanese Video Game Promotional Poster 2016, SEGA / PlayStation 4, B2 Format (c. 51 × 73 cm) — U34

Sale price $450.00

This is an original Japanese B2 retail promotional poster for the 2016 release of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, originally titled Ryū ga Gotoku 6: Inochi no Uta. Advertising the game’s 8 December 2016 Japanese PlayStation 4 launch, this pre-order design captures the campaign’s central promise: the final chapter in the legend of Kazuma Kiryu.

Published by SEGA, with Toshihiro Nagoshi credited as General Director, the game follows Kiryu as he investigates the circumstances surrounding Haruka’s disappearance and subsequent serious injury. Taking responsibility for her infant son, Haruto, he travels from Tokyo’s Kamurocho to Onomichi in Hiroshima, where concealed histories and underworld loyalties threaten the people he considers family. The story combines crime drama with questions of parenthood, responsibility and sacrifice.

Printed on one B2 sheet, the design centres on an imposing portrait of Kazuma Kiryu, his stern expression framed by swept-back hair, a grey suit and an open red shirt. Warm light across his face contrasts with the much larger, subdued portrait behind him: Toru Hirose, portrayed by Beat Takeshi. The layered faces give the composition the dramatic presence of Japanese crime-film advertising.

Enormous crimson lettering runs down the left edge, while the 龍が如く6 logo fills the right-hand side with pale characters and a sweeping red-and-black numeral. A faint dragon motif appears across the upper background. The PS4 logo occupies the upper-left corner, with SEGA branding and the Japanese cast and director credits along the bottom.

The prominent vertical slogan reads:

「桐生一馬伝説、最終章」
“The legend of Kazuma Kiryu — the final chapter.”

This wording preserves how the game was presented in its original launch campaign. Below the portraits, 「2016年12月8日発売 予約受付中」 announces “On sale 8 December 2016 — Pre-orders now open.” Together, the dated announcement, domestic branding and cinematic composition make this an appealing example for collectors of Yakuza / Like a Dragon, SEGA, PlayStation and Japanese video game advertising.

Condition: Excellent. Light handling creases, gentle paper undulations and minor edge wear are visible, with a few faint marks on the reverse. The colours remain strong and the lettering clear.

Please review all photographs, including the reverse, as they show the exact poster for sale.
