This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1970 for Toho’s domestic re-release of Invasion of Astro-Monster (Japan, 1965) — the Planet X saga directed by Ishirō Honda with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya, starring Akira Takarada, Nick Adams, and Kumi Mizuno.

Film background
Two astronauts from Earth are lured by the Xiliens of Planet X to “borrow” Godzilla and Rodan to defeat King Ghidorah—only to discover an invasion plot that turns the kaijū against humanity. A fan-favorite for its space-age design, UFO fleets, and monster-team dynamics.

Poster design
A spectacular space-battle tableau: three-headed King Ghidorah strafes gravity beams while Godzilla fires back; Rodan dives from above, flying saucers swarm, and a crescented planet hangs over a rocky alien landscape. The bold yellow cracked logotype 「キングギドラ対ゴジラ」 rides a scarlet band above portraits of the spacesuited cast and the header 「怪獣大戦争」—classic hallmarks of an authentic 1970 re-issue sheet with explosive wall presence.
