This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1963 for the first release of Detective Bureau 2-3: Go to Hell Bastards!.
This almost 5′ tall STB poster features fantastic artwork. The tatekan STB format had much lower print numbers compared to regular Japanese B2s. They are very rare, especially for more popular film titles, and are highly sought after by collectors today.
Detective Bureau 2-3: Go to Hell Bastards! (探偵事務所２３ くたばれ悪党ども, Tantei Jimusho 23: Kutabare Akutōdomo, aka Detective Bureau 23: Down with the Wicked) is a 1963 Japanese yakuza film directed by Seijun Suzuki in the vein of the Nikkatsu Studio's "borderless action cinema."
It is over 62 years old!
This poster was used at the time in the cinema- we have added some additional imagery to show small pinholes, tears etc.
